Located in the financial district of Dubai, the Museum of the Future takes visitors on an immersive journey by showcasing the latest innovative technologies and unique artistic designs.

Established in 2022, the museum’s iconic torus shape is renowned as an architectural phenomenon. Since its doors opened, the Museum of the Future has welcomed an impressive one million guests from more than 163 countries, including government officials and delegates.

With footfall expected to be high, the museum required new locker facilities with optimal space for its 149 members of staff.

Our tried and tested Active Lockers were specified in Solid Grade Laminate (SGL). SGL is a sturdy, scratch and impact-resistant material that’s impervious to water, therefore guaranteed to last for years to come.

Active Lockers are available in two widths and various shape models, to allow the client flexible customization in specifying suitable storage systems.

Active Lockers in a non-standard shape and size were delivered as per the client's brief. The unique shape provides ample space for hung items including clothing or bags, as well as smaller compartments for important personal belongings including phones, keys, and wallets.

Digital locks were specified for the lockers, providing enhanced password security for workers' peace of mind. They are conveniently reset to be used by multiple people, saving time and costs in re-using storage spaces that are not limited to one person. This is the ideal solution for staff areas that have rotating shift patterns, with multiple staff filtering in throughout a working week.

Our Active Lockers were delivered directly to site fully assembled, allowing for a speedy installation process, successfully meeting the museums’ planned deadline to open its doors to the public. With 34 laminate finishes to choose from, the client selected ‘Porcelain’ to enhance the staff area with a modern and sleek aesthetic, complementing the museum's impressive interior.
